Compassion and Commitment
Inner Transformation for Real Life
Coaching for stress reduction, emotional resilience, and meaningful change
I’m Lee Michael Vance, PsyD, ACC, an inner-transformation and stress-reduction coach.
I work with individuals, families, and organizations who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or ready for something to shift.
Life has a way of bringing us to crossroads. Moments when old patterns no longer work and new ways of being are asking for our attention. If you’re ready to change how you relate to stress, emotions, or the stories you tell yourself, we can do that work together.
My approach is integrative, compassionate, and practical, blending psychology, mindfulness, and whole-person wellness. This work isn’t about fixing what’s broken but rather it’s about reconnecting with what’s already here and learning how to live with greater clarity, steadiness, and care.
You don’t have to do this alone.
When you’re ready, I invite you to learn more or reach out for a conversation.
Ways I Support Individuals, Couples, and Families:
Navigating emotional crisis, grief, or overwhelm
Reducing substance use and reclaiming balance
Changing habits that no longer serve you
Loosening people-pleasing and strengthening boundaries
Working with repetitive or self-sabotaging patterns
Anxiety, fear, and persistent stress
Couples work and relationship repair
Facing chronic illness, aging, and mortality with dignity
Family conflict, estrangement, and long-standing patterns
Improving communication and emotional literacy
Spiritual direction and questions of meaning, faith, or doubt
My Foundational Belief
"Humans aren’t broken. Bones break. Systems break. Communication breaks. Understanding breaks. We are pained, but not broken. We are shaped by habits, but not defined by them. If you’re breathing right now, nothing is broken.
The best therapy, the best science, and the best of religion return us to this truth: we are already whole—and from here, healing unfolds.”
