Lee Michael Vance

Originally from Northern New York, I have worked and studied within the humanities throughout my adult life. I have a Master’s in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA), a Master’s in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute (Berkeley, CA). I have also been trained in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics.

I have worked as a home parent for children, a psychologist, therapist, and spiritual guide.

As a healer, I am committed to my ongoing education. I was trained at the Mindfulness Coaching School and take continuing education courses in psychology and theology. I am an ACC certified coach and member of the International Coaching Federation.

I am also a practitioner with the Compassion Care Foundation, advancing integrative cancer care in Northern New York and a pastor at Niccolls in Old Forge, NY.

I live with my beautiful partner, Jessica, our two expressive daughters, and our two large dogs.

Lee has created such an accessible and welcoming space without any judgement. Lee is a very warm-hearted, genuine and engaging teacher. He has a relaxed, easy way about him while also clearly knowing his stuff.

A Note on Integrity and Growth

I believe in the kind of growth that doesn’t come from getting it all right, but from facing what’s been wrong—and choosing a better way forward. My work is shaped by both my training and my lived experience, including mistakes I’ve had to own and learn from.

Those hard lessons have humbled me, deepened my compassion, and clarified what matters most: being present, keeping good boundaries, and walking with others in an honest and grounded way.

I carry those lessons with me—not with shame, but with intention. We are all becoming.
